BlueFort Labs is the build arm of BlueFort IT. While the parent runs IT for real businesses and BlueFort AI decodes the field in plain language, Labs is where the actual software gets made: the products, internal tools, and experiments behind it all.
We are a small lab with a bias for shipping. We would rather put a useful thing live this week than a perfect thing next quarter, and then make it better in the open. Most of what we build runs on open source, and a lot of it we give back.
This site is the showcase: the work, with honest status labels, so you can see what is live, what is in beta, and what we are still building.
How we work
- Build small, ship often. Tight loops beat big launches.
- Open and inspectable. Real code, real infrastructure, no smoke.
- Useful over clever. If it does not solve a real problem, it does not ship.
Real software, not slides
Everything here actually runs. We build working things, put them live, and keep them alive. A demo that only works on stage does not count.
Open by default
We build on open source and, where we can, in the open. No black boxes, no lock-in, no mystery infrastructure you cannot inspect.
Earn the ship
A project gets shown here when it solves an actual problem for us or a client. If nobody uses it, it does not make the cut.
